Our Showroom and Sales Team
Q: If you could trade places with anyone in the design world or history for one day, who would it be and why?
A: A day in the life of Sister Parrish working with Jacqueline Kennedy on the White House restoration.
Q: How did your childhood influence your design aesthetic?
A: I remember the first time my Mother let me “redesign” my room! From that moment on, I developed a growing penchant for creating delightful spaces.
Q: What is the best meal you have ever made and for whom did you make it?
A: Thanksgiving dinner 2019 for my husband and my daughter who was then 11 months. We usually travel for the holidays, so I never am able to cook holiday meals myself. As this was my daughter’s 1st Thanksgiving meal, we ate early and enjoyed being our little family of three.
Q: Can you describe your favorite hardware piece as you would to someone who can not see it?
A: My favorite piece of hardware is a long, clean lined cabinet pull that has been customized with an Antique Brass finish, and a hand hammered exterior for a glamorous touch. It is a glamorous, transitional piece of hardware, fit for any desired space!
Q: What is your favorite design quote?
A: Life should be chic, glamorous, and colorful – and so should your home. —Jonathan Adler
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world for design inspiration, where would it be and why?
A: I want to see the work of Haas and Hahn, a Dutch artist duo known for their large scale artworks in public places. They paint entire buildings and streets, transforming run down communities into works of art. Their creativity and use of color is inspirational.
